Welcome to the McKinney Quilters Guild
The McKinney Quilters Guild exists to bring together people who share a love of quilts and quilting. Together we learn from national and local quilt teachers and speakers and share our work with each other and the community. All levels of quilters are encouraged to join us.
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at Trinity Presbyterian Church located at 5871 Virginia Parkway in McKinney.

"My Quilting Journey" presented by Ann Moore
For our May 19 meeting we will welcome Ann Moore from Texas! Ann is a national quilting instructor and designer for Sew Steady/Westalee. She will share with us her “Quilting Journey.” You will love seeing the ruler-work that she does – it is beautiful!

"Learn how to quilt your own quilts using templates for your designs. Ruler work is guided free motion using templates to design and quilt your quilt. My class gives you a good sampling of templates and is considered an introduction to ruler work, we use my loaner templates so you can try before you buy, and only buy if you chose to. We will spend the day using several rulers (templates) designed to make quilting your quilt an easier process on your domestic machine. Let me teach you how to transform your quilt tops into finished quilts."
New Meeting Location for 2026
Beginning in JANUARY 2026, we will have our monthly Guild meetings at Trinity Presbyterian Church located at:
5871 Virginia Parkway in McKinney.
Meeting dates and time remain the same.
Park on the east side of the church and enter through the east entrance (NOT the east office entrance). Proceed straight ahead into Eva Joplin Hall.
Members attend free monthly guild meetings where you can learn, inspire and show your latest projects.

Block of the Month
Members are invited to participate in our Block of the Month challenge. Finished quilts are often donated to local organizations.
Your first two meetings are free. We ask that you join the guild at your third meeting.
We publish a monthly newsletter filled with information about guild activities and events.
