Welcome to the McKinney Quilters Guild
The McKinney Quilters Guild exists to bring together people who share a love of quilts and quilting. Together we learn from national and local quilt teachers and speakers and share our work with each other and the community. All levels of quilters are encouraged to join us.
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at Trinity Presbyterian Church located at 5871 Virginia Parkway in McKinney.

Nova Montgomery – A Century of Progress. (FeatherWeights)
A great exposition was held in Chicago in 1933 to celebrate the city's 100th anniversary. "A Century of Progress" was selected as the theme of the Fair to highlight advances in science and technology during the previous 100 years.
Let Nova take you back in time to see the background in our country leading up to the Fair, the factors that contributed to the enormous participation, some of the quilts made for the Fair, and the people who made them.
